Lots of people have been wondering why I started Obscura. Unlike most of the people who run web servers my efforts are not driven by greed. Obscura began as an underground movement of artists and photographers when I was in college. Obscura has always been about using creativity to make the world a better place.
After graduation the agents of Obscura started using the Internet to communicate. Now that the Obscurasite is fully operational we are working to fufill the dream of the Obscura Airship Fleet. All members are contributing and working hard to make this a reality. Obscurasite is here to promote the ideas of the Obscura team and make some money for the construction of the first Airship.
Why a fleet of Airships?
- If you have a message to deliver an Airship can make a massive statement! The Obscura Airships will be the first ever lighter than air craft to be outfited with giant stadium style Megavision screens.
- Obscura Airships will be used for advertising our clients products and services.

- Professional Aerial Photography and Cinematography.
- We will host charter flights and luxury voyages.
- Scientific research missions.
- Good will missions for charity and fund raising.
- Artistic Displays Obscura Style!
- Lastly we will be Entertaining potential clients. A big party on a giant blimp is a tough act to follow!
We are researching the latest developments in Airship Design as well as Motors. The Obscura Airships will be among the quietest and most fuel efficent in the world. Our goal is Zero Emissions!
